Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Program


MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to reduce disability from cardiac events through education. This outpatient 12-18 week program strives to reduce your risk of heart problems by providing nutritional counseling and support, prevention, disease management, and physical rehabilitation. Our staff will assess, plan, and implement a structured and monitored exercise regimen to improve the quality of life and contribute to a mote healthy society.


Individuals Served
RVMC Cardiac Rehabilitation Outpatient Program provides services for individuals that have or has had:
  
  • Heart attack in the tast Failure
  • 12 months Heart Valve Repair and Replacement
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery
  • Coronary Angioplasty or Stent
  • Current Stable Angina
  • Pectoris Stable Chronic Heart Transplant

MISSION STATEMENT 
The mission of the RVMC Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is: To reduce morbidity, mortality, and disability from pulmonary diseases through education, prevention, rehabilitation, and disease management. Our goal is to assess, plan, and implement an individualized therapeutic treatment plan to improve the quality of life. By increasing strength, endurance, and exercise tolerance, we help to alleviate the symptoms and complications of respiratory impairment
